The Pingry School

“As a student, I always loved chemistry. I found that it helped me see the world in a different way. Chemistry is connected to everything in our lives. It helps us explain and understand the world around us.”
While pursuing graduate studies in chemistry, Helen worked full time as a technician at the University of British Columbia’s Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy facility in Vancouver. Next, she worked at the Free Library of Philadelphia teaching SAT prep courses and a college readiness summer program. Before going back to school to become a teacher, she worked at the Charter High School for Architecture and Design, where she developed and ran a science center.
Helen began teaching at The Pingry School in Basking Ridge, New Jersey during the 2016–2017 school year.
Helen enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, knitting, reading, and running.
